About the exhibition:
I have been collecting objects since I was a child, at first I knew it was my child's toys, rags for dolls' knickknacks, then ammonites in a village in the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland. Glass waste from the glassworks in Zawiercie. Garbage dumps are my mines of knowledge and delight. I collected frogs run over by cars on the road running along the Mitręga River in my village as unusual and unique bookmarks. My work is based on searching for hidden potential in everyday, unnecessary or found materials. I like to collect things, look at them for a long time and meaningfully. Drawings and illustrations are often created intuitively and on the spur of the moment, and by drawing I celebrate the emotions that accompany these moments. I have always liked to collect, as if in defiance of the poverty in which I grew up.
I have always been attracted to the devalued sphere, the prosthesis, the margin of everyday life. I am inspired by unimportant or forgotten things. I like sincerity and simplicity, proverbs that sometimes reveal truths elusive in objective circulation, maxims, the art of everyday life, embroidery, seemingly unusual encounters of objects. In my work, often, thanks to the clash of everyday materials/objects and their use in an original way, a humorous element creeps in. Despite this lightness and visual catchiness, behind this supposed fun I hide contradictions and questions of an existential nature - about the place of man in society and the tensions occurring in it, especially about my place. My artistic interventions appear where the relations between nature and culture, what is innate and what is acquired, instilled, are redefined. The language of art does not consist of confirmations alone, these are often the seeds of questions about life, always shared with others. I am a visual artist, I create works within the broadly understood experimental fabric, object and drawing. I focus my creative search on my closest surroundings, everyday objects, everyday practices thanks to which I design my own sentiment, discovering the micro-meanings and nonsense of my own surroundings. I am fascinated by recycling in art and a collector of strangeness. I work based on found objects and everyday materials, analog and digital photographs.

She creates works within the broadly understood experimental fabric, object, drawing and graphics. She works based on found objects and everyday materials, analog and digital photographs. Her artistic interventions appear where the relations between nature and culture, what is innate and what is acquired and instilled, are redefined. In her art and scientific and research projects, she is concerned with the hidden potential of everyday materials, recycling in art, feminism and collecting. Body awareness, awareness of one's place in the world, one's own sometimes imagined limitations and imposed patterns are the starting point for her emerging series of works. A resident of Bielsko-Biała since 2017, she is fascinated by recycling.
